Lately, I’ve had many distractions. We took on the additional product line of creating teacher resources for TPT (Teachers Pay Teachers). I just finished a website to feature teacher resource products. Since last fall, I have created crossword and word search puzzles for all 50 US states. That was a ton of fun – and a lot of work! It was great putting my teaching background to use. With 72 products now for sale, plus a new website (jmartintoolbox.com), I am ready to refocus on some other writing projects for the rest of this winter. I really enjoyed creating short-term projects. Now, I am ready to dig back into the book-writing part of the business. I sincerely hope teachers and their students enjoy them. I am keeping prices as low as I can for two reasons. First, I want to cover the costs of production. Second, I want to give back to my teaching colleagues and all the students who love to solve puzzles.
This is my first year outside of the classroom after completing over 20 years of teaching. Now, I am ready to devote more time to Iris A. Blume Publishing. Please let us know if there is something you would like us to produce! 2025 is exciting as new books are being drafted, and I renewed my writing energy.
